The Best Reason to Visit the Little Beast Brewing Clackamas, Oregon Tasting Room!

On Tuesday Oct 5, 2021, I got a sneak preview of Little Beast Brewing’s brand-new tasting room located in Clackamas, Oregon. Little Beast Co-founders Brenda and Charles gave a me an early tour ahead of the grand opening to welcome the public Saturday Oct 9, 2021.

While I was there, I hit upon the best reason to visit this tasting room! There are a number of good reasons to pay this tasting room a visit, and I will share more of those below.

I can’t stand it when writers bury the lead so without further ado here is the best reason to visit the Little Beast Brewing Clackamas Tasting Room – you will often be able to find Little Beast beers there that you won’t find anywhere else!

Speaking specifically about the OCT 9, 2021, Grand Opening Ryan Jones, the Little Beast Brewing Clackamas Tasting Room and Bottle Club Manager said:

“Because the Tasting Room is actually on-site at the brewery, and therefore at the heart of Little Beast’s barrel aging and fermentation experiments, we made sure we had a number of special beers that are only available here.

We have an extensive vintage bottle list and about half of those have never been released to the public before and will never be sent to the Portland location. We’ll release more beers like that in the future too. So, if you live in Portland and are looking for a reason to visit this location, we’ve got you covered.”

Embrace the Darkness Robust Porter

To that point – the  day before I was there, they had canned Embrace the Darkness Robust Porter and I was able to pick up a 4 pack of this wonderful dark beer before any of it had been sent over to the awesome Little Beast Beer Garden on Division Street in Portland.

Other Reasons to Pay a Visit to the Little Beast Brewing Clackamas Tasting Room

That Mural! They have a great mural that you just have to see for yourself.

Chat Up Ryan! Ryan Jones is the Little Beast Brewing Clackamas Tasting Room Manager, and he knows beer! It’s always great to get talk with him. Now sometimes he will be too busy pouring beer to chat, and Ryan may not be there when you are there. That all being said, if the craft beer goddesses smile upon you and do get an opportunity to chat briefly with Ryan – do it and thank me later!

To See It for Yourself! If you are a craft beer fan and you live in the greater Portland, Oregon area you already know how much fun it is to visit a “new to you’ craft beer bar / tasting room.

Address / Location

The Little Beast Brewing Clackamas Tasting Room is located at:

11517 SE Highway 212 Clackamas, Oregon 97015

If you are coming from 205 you will be turning left into an industrial complex looking area. Thankfully there is a traffic light at the very spot you need to turn.

As you are turning you will see the Wichita Pub looming on your right, keep going and turn to the right down the first opening you come to. The tasting room will be about halfway down on your left. From the outside it does not look like much and for me that is part of the charm.

Hours / Days

For now, the hours are expected to be Thursdays and Fridays from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM and Saturdays from 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

Food

Please note – unlike the awesome Little Beast Beer Garden, the Little Beast Brewing Clackamas Tasting Room will NOT be serving ANY food. No chips, no salty snacks – nothing! You are welcome to bring your own food and/or salty snacks with you when you visit.
